Collection: SUMMER 21

The concept of the collection is about souvenirs. Staying connected with symbolic objects, although far apart. More in particular the story of sailormen in the 1920's in England, led to this collection. When they got home from a long journey they often brought back a souvenir of 2 porcelain dogs to put at the window. The dogs were connection by a chain. When they looked in the same direction, it meant the husband was home, when one looked they other way, the husband was gone sailing. The collection is about romanticism but also about desire.
